Covid guidelines

For Sunday services at St Mark's please read through these guidelines before coming to church:

Please socially distance on entry and exit and use the hand sanitiser.

The service sheet will be emailed the day before each service to those on the St Mark's list. Please print it out or bring it on your phone.

For communion, please approach the altar rail three people at a time such that there are no more than three people standing, not kneeling to receive communion, and three people waiting two metres apart at any one time.

There will be no plate collections. Instead, please bring a debit or credit card and make use of the digital device by the pillar at the back of the church.

We recognise that the above arrangements won’t necessarily please everyone, but they look to be the best compromise to allow us to attend church in person in the current circumstances and will be kept under review. For anyone unable to attend, for whatever reason, services will continue to be available on a YouTube link. Please email office@stmarksenglefield.org.uk to register your interest and you will be sent the relevant link.

Please contact Nick Wynne-Jones, Paula Fenwick or Torquil Montague-Johnstone if you would like any further information.

Note: The sending of an email to office@stmarksenglefield.org.uk including your telephone number will be taken as confirmation of your consent for collecting your contact details. In line with guidance issued by the Department for Health and Social Care, we will keep your details safely and in compliance with GDPR legislation for 21 days before securely disposing of or deleting them. We will only share your details with NHS Test and Trace, if asked, in the event that it is needed to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We will not use your details for any other purposes or pass them on to anyone else.
